A type of neckless, wide-mouthed carinated flask, originating in northern Gaul and dating from the 5th century. Relatively few examples are known. There is no established typological classification in the existing typo-chronologies (Morin-Jean, Isings, Koch, Feyeux, Rural Riches), although the form is likely a late development of the neckless flasks classed as Morin-Jean 114 and Isings 131.
